Looks like Ed's clearing out some of his collection a bit and selling off a few pretty awesome key issue comics. Some of these keys are pretty sought out and high grade, and even the ones in low grade are still pretty sought out.

  1. Like the Aquaman issues & AS 50! Respect buddy - awesome collection. For me everything around 6.5 is fine. Recently wanted to snag up an Avengers 9 (first Wonderman) which I think has lots of potential, but it was a 4.5 missing the left corner (79 $). Hope I can still find that issue in a better grade...

  3. How can you put those comics in coffins? Plastic coffins! I wanna read them, touch them, smell them just like a beautifull woman. You don' t put those in plastic coffins, do ya?... I wonder if it is possible to pull em out again without damage... Anybody done this yet?

    1. Some people prefer slabbed copies. Some don't. Some like buying slabbed copies to ensure that they're getting the grade they're paying for or a comic that isn't restored if they can't spot restoration.

Some like slabbing them to better help preserve them also. Yes, you can take them out of the slab without damaging them. It's being done all the time now with the rise of cleaning and pressing comics.

  4. I will buy either. Slabbed unslab the only rule I have is if it's over 500 that baby is gonna be slabbed so I know what I'm getting. JW

  5. Yeah, I like the smell thing too. I suggest you make a competition with your friends. Put something over their eyes and let 'em guess which book is from what era. I bet they will find out the 90s, the 80s and the Silver Age books. Their smell is so unique. Try it!
