More Suicide Squad Casting News!

Wow, seems like comic book movie news is on another role and the hits keep coming. Now, it's DC/WB's turn to roll out some excitement.

Apparently it's hot off the press that the David Ayer directed Suicide Squad has just added three more actors to the cast. Although their parts or roles in the movies have not yet been confirmed, that still doesn't keep speculation from running rampant on the good ole internet.

So the latest casting rumor, which has been confirmed, is that Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje will be playing the Batman villain Killer Croc in the upcoming Suicide Squad movie. A pretty well-known Batman villain, Killer Croc first appearance was in Batman #357, a long with the character Jason Todd.

Wow, if you thought that this movie already sounded over crowded with Deadshot, Rick Flag Jr., Enchantress, Harley Quinn, Joker, Lex Luthor, and Captain Boomerang, there's two more who are rumored to be thrown into the mix also.

Recently, it was confirmed that Scott Eastwood, the son of legendary actor and director Clint Eastwood, has been cast for a role in the Suicide Squad. Latino Review is reporting the rumor that it is for the role of Wonder Woman's leading man, Steve Trevor

The actual role isn't all that surprising since we all know that a Wonder Woman movie is in the works and the character did have a better than likely chance of popping up in a movie sometime. According to the rumors now hitting cyber space, it seems his role is most likely a cameo in the Suicide Squad flick.

But, the goodness or not so goodness doesn't end there. The folks over at Latino Review are also saying that Raymond Obulowale, the Nigerian boxer and actor, has been cast to play King Shark.

King Shark? Really? Even though the character was part of the team at one point, that call seriously went over my head.

If that ends up being true, it just goes to show you that any odd ball character or characters in the comic book world can end up in a movie. For those of you who are wondering, King Shark made his first cameo appearance in Superboy #0 from the volume 4 series. His first full appearance is in Superboy #9 volume 4.

Of course, this is just the rumor going around now, and the news is still fresh. No official confirmation just yet, but I'm sure it will come out sooner or later. Probably sooner since the Suicide Squad movie is set to start filming in April.

Might be time to check out those comics to see if they're on the rise or still a cheap pick up if you're in the speculating mood.
