eBay - Although this is a Modern Age comic and 9.8s should generally be sought after for this comic era, I'm listing this CGC 9.4 NM, so I can give you the heads up on this issue to keep an eye out for higher grade CGC 9.6s and 9.8s. There aren't any so far online in terms of graded copies, but I'm sure once the news starts rounding the cyber-sphere on a greater level, you should see some high grade NM copies surfacing rather soon!

You can always try unslabbed copies as well if you want to take the gamble.

First and foremost, this Modern Age comic was pretty much a dollar back issue bin, but as you most of you know, a certain character has been rumored by a pretty reliable source to be in the upcoming Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice movie. If you regularly read this blog, you know who it is, but for those of you who may have just found this site or are new, it seems that David Cain will be just one of the villains for the Zack Snyder film.

Created by Kelley Puckett and Damion Scott, there's a few important things concerning the character. First, in the comics, he trained young Bruce Wayne how to kill, as David Cain is one of the most skilled assassins in the DCU. Two, he is the father of Cassandra Cain, who ends up becoming the 2nd Batgirl.

Which brings me to another fine key status for Batman #567. This issue also holds the first appearance of Cassandra Cain as well. Talk about hitting two birds with one stone, right?

If Latino Review's leak is true about David Cain appearing on the big screen, the question of will the movie be setting up for a Cassandra Cain appearance somewhere down the line, and will she appear as Batgirl is a logical one Batman #567 sees the character of Cassandra Cain's first appearance. She would suit up as Batgirl in another DC Comics titled series however.

With everything happening with the DCU's cinematic world and how they are working on building a shared universe, this comic will definitely be one to gun for. The news of David Cain is just recent and no confirmation by Warner Bros. has been made as of yet, but Batman #567 will surely start to gain some steam in the upcoming months.

After all, San Diego Comic Con is just around the corner so I'm sure it will be the time to make some really exciting announcements for DC Comics and Warner Bros. If you missed the news about this possible villain in the Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice flick, just click the link to check it out!
