Justice League of America Key Comic Issues Part 6

Welcome to Part 6 of this Justice League of America key comic issues list. We're now in the Bronze Age and got a bit more to go through concerning this iconic DC Comics superhero team.

So if you haven't yet read Part 5, just click the link to do so. If you already have, continue on with the key issue goodness in Part 6!

Justice League of America #91
  • First meeting of G.A. and S.A. Robin
More cross over goodness int this issue. It seems that the JLA and JSA have to team up once again, and the Robins of Earth II and Earth I finally meet each other to help combat the threat of an alien boy named A-Rym and his pet, Teppy. No joke! August, 1971 is when this comic was published.

eBay - Pretty scarce over-all. A minimal amount of unslabbers and no CGC just yet being pimped here. Well, so far, that is.

mycomicshop - Only one unslabbed copy at a VG grade. This is basically a just want to have it copy.

NewKadia - VF copy here. Only one at the time of this writing. Looks like CGCs online will be quite a hunt for this issue at the present moment.

Justice League of America #95
  • Origin of Dr. Fate
  • Origin of Dr. Midnite
Since Doctor Fate and Dr. Midnite are early Golden Age characters, this isn't the first telling of both characters' origins. However, it is a retelling with more details written into it.

Not an overly sought-out key issue within the Justice League of America title, but it is an early JLA bronze age key. This comic was published in December, 1971.

eBay - Quite limited in the selection for this JLA issue. Only a few raw copies with no CGC in sight at the moment.

ComicConnect - Unslabbed mid-grade FN 6.0 located here.

NewKadia - Another VF copy here for this issue as well at NewKadia.

Justice League of America #96
  • Origin of Hourman
  • Origin of Wildcat
These origins of Hourman and Wildcat are basically reprints from their original origin stories. They are both Golden Age characters as well. Not sure if they add any extra details or not in this bronze age comic. This issue was published in February, 1972 and pretty much a minor key.

eBay - Finally some CGC copies here. Only two and the highest is a 9.2. Other copy is a 9.0 VF/NM. Quite a few raw copies as well to select from.

mycomicshop - Unslabbed copies here only. Highest is a 5.0 VG/FN.

ComicConnect - Another CGC 9.2 copy located here. Also a raw 9.2 as well.

NewKadia - low VF, 7.5 raw copy here at the moment. Only one copy for sale at the time of this writing.

Justice League of America #100
  • 1st meeting of G.A. and S.A. Wonder Woman
  • First Nebula Man
In his first appearance, Nebula Man was depicted as a cosmic being who touch had the power of 20 atomic bombs. He was created by a villain known as The Hand

In this issue, members of the JLA are once again summoned to Earth Two to help out The Justice Society of America. It seems the Golden Age heroes need a lot of help. Anyway, it seems a giant nebulous hand threatens to crush Earth Two. It's when the two superhero teams from alternate worlds combine to defeat this menace is when the Golden Age Wonder Woman meets her Silver Age counterpart.

eBay - Only one CGC copy located. It's a 5.0 VG/FN. Quite a few raw copies, and some of them are in comic lots. Mostly low to mid-grade if that.

ComicConnect - Raw VF+ 8.5 copy. Only copy there as of the moment.

NewKadia - Three raw copies located here. Highest is a low VF 7.5, and the second highest is a FN+. Other copy is a low grade just to have it copy.

Justice League of America #102
  • Red Tornado destroyed
In defeating the nebulous menace, Red Tornado sacrifices his life for the fate of the world. Yes, the Red Tornado does eventually get resurrected again. Minor key issue and probably not that sought-after, but it is a bronze age key issue for the first titled Justice League of America comic series.

eBay - All unslabbed copies here at the moment of this writing. Probably wont be an easy find online. Not to do with rarity, but because most aren't concerned with this issue.

NewKadia - VF copy here. Also a FN+ copy as well.

Justice League of America #105
  • Elongated Man joins JLA
I remember this guy, the Elongated Man. His first appearance was in the list of Flash key comics done not too long ago. In that issue he was a villain, but it seems he turns out good. The Elongated man joins the Justice League of America in this issue. Not much else to this issue other than that, at least that I know of.

This bronze age comic was published in April, 1973.

eBay - Two high grade CGC copies at the moment for this key issue. One is a gorgeous CGC 9.6 and the other a pretty attractive 9.4. 9.6 is pretty affordable with a Best Offer option. Raw copies are available as well.

ComicLink - Only one CGC copy located here. It's also a CGC 9.4.

NewKadia - If you prefer raw copies and don't care about CGC whatsoever, there's three copies here. Highest is a VF+ with the second highest a VF.

Part 7 is ready to be devoured so just hit that blue PART 7 link below to continue on. Almost nearing the end to this Justice League of America key comics issues list. You can click the PREVIOUS link below to read up on Part 5 if you happened to miss it.
