High Grade Key Issue Located

mycomicshop - Three 9.6 copies up for auction. Two are PGX and one is CGC. Only a few days left.

WHY THIS ISSUE?

Actually, I located a bunch of 9.6 high grade copies for Swamp Thing #37, but all of them are graded and are the cheapest finds at the time of this writing. If you don't mind PGX, that will probably be the cheapest option for this comic at this grade.

Someone asked me what are some good Copper Age key issues under $250 and this one is it at CGC 9.6. All of the ones I located and featured here are still lower than $250, but I don't expect that to last. If they're no longer there, then they were most likely snagged already.

The first appearance of John Constantine is a hot Copper Age key issue once again, because of the new television series on NBC, starring Matt Ryan as John Constantine. This isn't the character's first time in live action. There was the movie that had Keanu Reeves in it, which I didn't think was that bad. Then again, I've always had a thing for Rachel Weisz.

Whether you liked the movie or not, it did do a great thing. It made the character more well-known. I was strictly a Marvel guy at the time and had no idea that the movie Constantine was adapted from a comic book.

The new television show will further do this, and already has put this 1985 Copper Age book written by none other than the quirky but brilliant Alan Moore on the hot burner. Also, a surge in demand for Copper Age key issues are on the rise as well.

Swamp Thing #37 from the Volume 2 series in CGC 9.8 are already selling above the $400 mark, but CGC 9.6s are in hot demand as well. This comic is an absolute one to consider concerning hot Copper Age key issues and it did make my list of Miscellaneous Key Issue Comics To Be On The Hunt For!
