mycomicshop - A gorgeous CGC 9.4 copy of the first brief appearance of HIM (Adam Warlock) has been located at Only one high grade CGC copy available here. The rest are unslabbed copies at various grades. This silver age key issue will soon be on the hot burner.

As I've explained in the previous High Grade Alert concerning Marvel Premiere #1, it's only a matter of time before Adam Warlock will make his debut on the silver screen. Many are already speculating that he will make an appearance in Guardians of the Galaxy movie since his character is tied with the group in the comic books.

Actually, Adam Warlock's character is deeply embedded within the Marvel cosmic universe of comics, as well as the Infinity Gauntlet story line. Many are also speculating after Thanos briefly appearing in the Avengers movie that the logical step would be for Thanos to seek out the Infinity Gauntlet in Avengers 2 or Marvel's cinematic Phase 3.

There has been no confirmation of Adam Warlock being in Guardians or any Avengers flicks as of yet, so this silver age key issue is pretty luke warm as of now. However, I'm pretty positive that Warlock will be set up to make an appearance pretty soon, and when news does hit of when and where Adam Warlock will appear in a Marvel movie, expect all first appearances of HIM (Warlock) to be on the hot burner. There are quite a bit, and they are spread out within different titles.
Fantastic Four #67 is the second part of the HIM story line in the Fantastic Four comics and actually shows the character. Fantastic Four #66 does not show HIM and has him in cocoon form.

The first full appearance of Warlock as HIM is in Thor #165 before the character gets completely revamped during the bronze age in Marvel Premiere #1 and becomes the Adam Warlock that we know.
