Thor Movie Ready To Hit Theaters May 16th!

I wrote a blog post when I had first learned of the Thor movie that was in production. By this time, the Thunder God wasn't even cast yet, and I was perplexed with the question, "If a Thor movie would even work?" Sure, I wondered how Marvel and Hollywood could make a pretty campy comic character into something...well, cool and believable.

I'm going to revoke that statement and my previous blog post. If you haven't read it, you can read it by clicking here. I'm revoking it because the trailer looks pretty damn awesome.

Also, who can resist watching the ever gorgeous Natalie Portman, or the stunning sexiness of Rene Russo in movie that's filled with lots of ass kicking. Even though they're not the ones doing the ass kicking, having both Natalie Portman and Rene Russo in the same movie = Double the hotness!

I don't care what anyone says...Rene Russo still has it, and she's still a gorgeous specimen of all that's feminine and beautiful and sexy and...

There are so many reasons why I'm rebuking my first blog post about Thor the Movie, and a few of them are:

  1. The Destroyer is going to be in it and doesn't look cheesy!
  2. Loki doesn't look like some retarded jester that got kicked out of funny school.
  3. It's gonna be in 3-D and IMAX 3-D. Now that's awesome, but I'm opting for IMAX 3-D all the way!
and the most important and grand-daddy reasons of them em all:

THOR ACTUALLY DOESN'T LOOK CHEESY!

That's right. His costume actually looks pretty cool, and believable. So all my questions have been answered and now I'm geeking out like my fellow comic book geeks across the world by sitting on pins and needles until this movie hits the screen!
